There are many year-round and seasonally ferries to Morocco from Spain, connecting Tarifa, Algeciras, Almería, Barcelona and Motril to Tanger Ville, Tanger Med, Nador and Al Hoceima. There are many daily crossings, so it is quite straightforward to plan a day trip from Spain to Morocco. The routes between the two countries are served by Africa Morocco Link (AML), Baleària, FRS Iberia, GNV, Naviera Armas, and Trasmediterránea with conventional and high-speed ferries.
- Tarifa - Tanger Ville: there are usually over 10 daily ferries, with crossings taking around 1 hr and tickets priced from about €40.
- Algeciras - Tanger Med: there are up to 40 daily crossings, with the journey lasting 1.5 hr to 2.5 hr and tickets starting from around €30.
- Almería - Nador: you can travel by ferry with 1-2 daily crossings, which take 8 hr to 11 hr and ticket prices start from around €80.
- Barcelona - Tanger Med: there are 2 weekly ferries that take 30 hr to 35 hr for the trip and tickets cost from about €90.

- Genoa - Tanger Med: normally up to 5 weekly ferries, year-round, with the trip taking 45 hr 45 min and 56 hr 30 min and tickets priced from €115.

- Tanger Med is a major port in Morocco that is located about 50 km northeast of the city of Tangier. The port is connected by ferry to Algeciras, Barcelona and Motril in Spain, Gibraltar on the Iberian Peninsula, Genoa and Civitavecchia in Italy, and Sète and Marseille in France.
- Nador, in the northeastern Rif region of Morocco, has regular ferry connections with Almería, Barcelona and Motril in Spain, as well as Sète and Marseille in France.
- Al Hoceima has seasonal ferry connections with Motril.
