The ferries traveling between Motril and Nador did not have cabins. However, on the alternative routes from Almería to Nador, from Motril to Melilla, and from Málaga to Melilla, you can book cabins for 1-4 passengers. Typically, you have the option between standard interior cabins, exterior cabins with a sea view, deluxe suites with a double bed and sea view, adapted cabins for travelers with disabilities, and pet-friendly cabins.

On Motril - Nador ferries, as well as the alternative routes, you can travel with your pet, provided you include it in your reservation when booking your tickets.

Depending on the route, company and vessel, you have the option of either keeping your pet with you in a pet-friendly seat, booking a place in the onboard kennels or booking a pet-friendly cabin.

During the trip, smaller pets must be kept in carriers, while larger pets must wear a muzzle and be kept on a leash.

Make sure to bring the necessary health and travel documents (including microchip ID and rabies vaccination), tickets, and any pet supplies you may need for your trip.

Here are some useful tips for your ferry trip between Motril and Nador:

Where to take the ferry from Motril to Nador

Ferries to Nador used to set sail from the Andalusian port of Motril (also known as the port of Motril-Granada), just 4 km from the town. It is easily accessible by car, taxi and bus.

At present, you can travel directly by ferry to Nador from Muelle de la Ribera at the port of Almería. Alternatively, you can travel directly by ferry from the port of Motril and Estación Marítima de Málaga in Málaga to Melilla, which is about 30 km from Nador.
