Where to take the ferry from Athens (Piraeus) to Santorini

You can catch the ferry to Santorini from the port of Piraeus in Athens. The port of Piraeus is located approximately 15 km south of the city center of Athens and 45 km from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos. You can get to the port of Piraeus by car, taxi, as well as public transport, including metro, train, bus, and suburban railway.

Bear in mind that you can get to the port in about 25 min by metro from Athens center (Monastiraki station).

Ferries from Athens to Santorini normally depart from Piraeus Port Gates E6, E7, E9, and E10. Departure gates may change, so we recommend checking your ticket and the electronic display boards located at the port for more information.

Where does the ferry arrive in Santorini?

The ferry from Athens arrives at the port of Athinios in Santorini. Athinios Port is located on the western coast of Santorini, 8 km from Fira and 20 km from the village of Oia.

The ferry connection from Piraeus to Santorini is operated by:
