Where to take the ferry from Positano to Naples

All ferries and hydrofoils from Naples to Positano depart from Molo Beverello.

The pier is around 2 km from Napoli Centrale railway station and can be reached on foot, by taxi, by bus, or via metro line 1. Buses traveling from Napoli Centrale to Molo Beverello stop at Piazza Garibaldi.

If you are arriving by car from the Naples ring road, take the Corso Malta or Porto exit and follow the signs to the port.

Where can I park near the port of Naples?

As Molo Beverello is located in the heart of Naples, we recommend using one of the paid parking facilities nearby. They are usually reasonably priced and often provide a free shuttle service to your departure terminal.

Good to know: vehicles cannot be transported to Positano and are not permitted on the ferries or hydrofoils serving this route.

Where does the ferry arrive in Positano?

Ferries from Naples arrive at the only pier in Positano, located at the Marina Grande beach, right at the foot of the village. This is the main gateway for visitors arriving by sea, and it’s just a short walk from the city center. Positano is built vertically into the cliffs, so reaching the upper part of the seaside town involves steep steps and winding alleyways.
