  • By car: the port is easily reachable via the A12 motorway (Rome–Civitavecchia). Follow the signs for "Porto" once you approach the town. Parking areas are available near the terminals.
  • By train: Civitavecchia train station is served by frequent Trenitalia regional services from Roma Termini, with a journey time of approximately 50 min to 1 hour. The station is located about 1 km from the port, reachable on foot in roughly 10 to 15 min or by shuttle bus.
  • By taxi: taxis are available at the train station and in the town center. A ride from the station to the port takes about 5 min.
  • By plane: the nearest airports are Rome Fiumicino (about 60 km) and Rome Ciampino (about 90 km). From Fiumicino, you can take a direct train or bus to Civitavecchia, with a travel time of approximately 1 hour.
