Cabins and accommodation

When traveling by ferry from southern France to Sardinia, you can choose from different types of cabins: internal, external with windows, deluxe cabins, cabins for people with disabilities, and pet-friendly cabins.

The price of a cabin usually starts at around €90 and varies depending on its specifications.

If you are looking for a budget-friendly option, deck-lounge seating is included in the ticket price. This option allows you to sit anywhere in the common areas or on the deck, but does not include a reserved seat.

Corsica Ferries allows each passenger to bring 1 piece of luggage not exceeding 200x100x50 cm in size.

Traveling with pets

Pets are welcome on all ferries from France to Sardinia. Simply include your pet in your online booking and pay a small additional fee, which is usually less than €30.

Smaller pets must travel in a carrier, while larger ones should always be kept on a leash. Remember that you can also book a pet-friendly cabin for a more comfortable journey.

Where to take the ferry from France to Sardinia

Ferries to Sardinia depart from 3 ports in southern France: Toulon, Nice and Sète.

Here’s more information about each port:

• Toulon: the port of Toulon has 3 main piers. Ferries to Sardinia usually depart from Quai du Président Pierre Fournel. The port is located near the city center, where you will find car parks, car rentals, supermarkets, restaurants, and shops.
• Nice: ferries to Sardinia depart from Quai du Commerce in Nice's port. The maritime station is close to the city center and only a 20-min walk from the Basilica of Notre Dame.
• Sète: ferries to Porto Torres usually leave from Gare Maritime Orsetti, located at Place Mangeot. The port can be reached on foot from the center in just a few minutes.

Where does the ferry arrive in Sardinia?

Ferries from Toulon, Sète and Nice, in southern France, reach Porto Torres, a port city on the northwest coast of Sardinia. Porto Torres is a great place to start exploring the island. Most places can be reached by car, and there is also a train service that connects to other major cities and towns.

The port is conveniently located near the town center and offers a free shuttle bus that can take you there. Near the port, you will find bars, restaurants, shops, beaches, and historical monuments.
