Where to take the ferry from Bonifacio to Sardinia

Ferries to Sardinia leave from the ferry terminal at the commercial port of Bonifacio (Quai Sott pier, Portigliola), in southern Corsica.

The port of Bonifacio is located in a narrow natural inlet that stretches deeply into the rocky coast. Its entrance is, in fact, surrounded by spectacular limestone cliffs that are over 70 meters high.

The ferry terminal is close to Bonifacio’s marina area, where travelers can find cafés, restaurants, shops, hotels and parking facilities. 

How to get to the port of Bonifacio?

• By car: Bonifacio is connected to the rest of Corsica via the T40 and N196 roads. The drive from Porto-Vecchio, for example, takes around 30 min.

• By taxi: you can find taxis in the town center and accommodation areas.
• By plane: the nearest airport is Figari Sud-Corse Airport, located about 20 km from the port. From the airport, you can reach Bonifacio by car, taxi or shuttle service.
