• By train: Civitavecchia railway station has frequent connections with Rome's Termini station. The train journey usually takes around 1 hour. From the station, the port entrance at Varco Fortezza is about 600 m away and can be reached on foot or by local bus.
• By bus: local shuttle buses and taxis connect the train station with the ferry terminal and boarding areas.
• By plane: the nearest airport is Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport, located about 65 km from the port. From the airport, you can reach Civitavecchia by train, shuttle service or car.
