Ferry from Reggio Calabria to Vulcano

Toddlers and children up to 3 years old travel free of charge, while children up to 11 years old are entitled to reduced tickets. There are also discount tickets for residents of the Aeolian Islands.

Cabins & accommodation

The hydrofoils that operate the crossing from Reggio Calabria to Vulcano do not have cabins. Alternatively, deck-passage accommodation is included in the ticket price.

Luggage

With Liberty Lines, you can carry up to 10 kg of hand luggage with maximum dimensions of 60x40x20 cm. Younger travelers that are entitled to discount tickets are allowed to carry up to 5 kg.

Pets on board

On all Reggio Calabria - Vulcano ferries, you can travel with your pet, as long as it is included in the booking. Small pets must travel in a carrier or cage. As for those of medium/large size, they must be leashed and wear a muzzle.

Where to take the ferry from Reggio Calabria to Vulcano

Ferries traveling from Reggio Calabria to Vulcano in the Aeolian Islands usually depart from the pier in Via Candeloro.

In the port area, there are bars, restaurants, hotels, rentals and private parking lots. The Reggio Calabria Centrale station is located about 3 km from the hydrofoil dock and can be easily reached by bus in about 20 min.
