3. Bonifacio is perfect for a day trip from Santa Teresa di Gallura as ferries run throughout the day. Just remember to book your return trip in advance to ensure a spot on your preferred ferry.
4. If you want to explore Corsica beyond Bonifacio, traveling with your vehicle is a great option. This way, you can easily visit other charming towns, such as Porto Vecchio, and the beaches of the southeastern coast.
5. During the summer months, the port of Santa Teresa di Gallura can be fairly busy. To avoid any last-minute delays, arrive at least 60-90 minutes before your departure, especially if you're traveling with a vehicle.
6. The ferry ride between Santa Teresa di Gallura and Bonifacio offers spectacular views of the Strait of Bonifacio. Protect yourself from the sun, and remember to bring your camera to capture the view as you approach the town's white cliffs!

The journey to Bonifacio is usually a quick one, and the ferries are equipped with amenities designed to make the trip enjoyable and comfortable.

You'll find a bar or cafeteria on board where you can relax with a coffee or snack. There are also communal areas with comfy seating. Most ferries also offer Wi-Fi access. Since the journey lasts less than an hour, cabins are not available.

If you're traveling with a vehicle, such as a car, motorcycle, camper, or minibus (with or without a trailer), then you can bring it on board. Ferries have spacious garages, but spots are limited. For this reason, it's best to book your ticket in advance, especially during the high season.

Pets are also welcome on board ferries to/from Bonifacio. All pets must stay in designated areas. Dogs must be held on a leash and wear a muzzle. Smaller pets must travel in their carrier. Remember to include your pet in your booking and pay the small additional fee.

Alternatively, you can use the bus service available outside the airport. Take the LB and C1bis lines to reach the port. Keep in mind that buses are less frequent, especially in the low season.
