Fourni (or Fournoi) is a group of islands and small islets close to Ikaria. The 2 major islands are Fourni and Thymaina. The lace-like coastline of the islands hides a multitude of bays and secluded coves, which were once home to pirates roaming the Mediterranean Sea.

Transportation in Fourni

There are no buses in Fourni and you can only get around by private vehicle. Despite the short distances, we recommend that you bring your car or motorcycle or rent there, to be more flexible during your vacation. Most roads are properly paved, but there are some dirt roads too.
