The port of Huelva has 2 sections: the inner port (Puerto Interior), which is in the city, and the outer port (Puerto Exterior), the main port of Huelva where ferries to the Canary Islands depart from. The outer port is located about 17km from the city of Huelva and the ferry terminals are at the south pier (Puerto Exterior Muelle Sur).
