Mallorca has 2 ports: the port of the capital Palma de Mallorca, in the west, and the port of Alcudia in the east. Both ports of Mallorca have ferry crossings to Menorca. The easiest and fastest trip is from the port of Alcudia to the port of Ciutadella in Menorca.

The two ports of Mallorca are connected by regular train and bus services. The distance between Palma and Alcudia is approximately 55 km and the trip takes approximately 1 hr.
