Are you wondering how to get from Mallorca to Menorca? Mallorca has 2 ports: the port of the capital Palma de Mallorca, in the west, and the port of Alcudia in the east. Both ports of Mallorca have ferry crossings to Menorca.

The easiest and fastest trip is from the port of Alcudia to the port of Ciutadella in Menorca.

The Palma to Menorca ferry travels to the port of Mahón in Menorca and the trip is about 6 hr. 

The two ports of Mallorca are connected by regular train and bus services. The distance between Palma and Alcudia is approximately 55 km and the trip takes approximately 1 hr.

Can I travel on the ferry from Mallorca to Menorca with a car?

Yes, you can carry your vehicle on the ferry Mallorca-Menorca.

Ferry luggage 

Each ferry company has its own baggage allowance policy. In Baleària ferries you can carry the maximum luggage that you can get on board by yourself, without help and in one go. There are also open luggage trunks in the passenger lounges, where you can leave your luggage during the trip. Trasmediterránea allows passengers a maximum of 40 kg of luggage for cabins and 30 kg for seats, while ferries often have closed luggage storage rooms. Corsica Ferries allows hand luggage on board free of charge and any other luggage that should not exceed the following measurements: 200 cm (height), 100 cm (length) and 50 cm (depth).
