Where to take the ferry from Alcúdia to Ciutadella

Ferries to Ciutadella typically set sail from the Commercial Dock (Muelle Comercial) in Alcúdia, on the northeastern coast of Mallorca. The port is roughly 60 km from Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI).

At the port, you will find plenty of traveler amenities, including ticket offices, waiting lounges,  cafés, car rental services and parking facilities.

How to get to the port of Alcúdia

• By car: from Palma or the airport, take the Ma-13 highway directly north and follow the signs for Puerto de Alcúdia.
• By bus: many local TIB buses connect the Alcúdia port with major hubs across the island, with line A32 providing a direct connection from Palma Airport to Alcúdia, while line 302 runs regularly from central Palma (Estació Intermodal).  
• By taxi: taxis are readily available outside the arrivals terminals at Palma Airport and throughout the island, with a taxi ride to the port Alcúdia taking around 45-50 min.  

Where does the ferry arrive in Menorca?

Ferries from Mallorca arrive at the port of Ciutadella, located on the western coast of Menorca. The port is around 3 km from the town center and 45 km from Mahón.

Nearby the port, you’ll find cafés, restaurants, shops, and tourist services. The port of Ciutadella is also well connected by road to other parts of the island, making it easy to continue your journey around Menorca after disembarking.
