How to get to the port of Barcelona

The port of Barcelona is about 3.5 km from the city centre and has convenient connections by public transport (metro and bus), car and taxi. Here’s a bit more detail on each option:

• By metro: take Line 3 (Green Line) to Drassanes Station or Line 4 (Yellow Line) to Barceloneta Station. Both stops are around a 15-minute walk from the port.
• By bus: lines 45, 59, 88, 88B, D20, 21, N0, N6 or H14 serve the port area. The T-3 Portbus shuttle connects Drassanes directly with the cruise and ferry terminals.
• By train: from Barcelona Sants station, take the R2 Nord line to Estació de França. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk to the port or a short taxi ride.
• By car: take the C-31 road, which joins the B-10, and follow signs to Port de Barcelona. There are several parking options around the port area.
• By taxi: the port is about 5-10 minutes by taxi from the city centre. If you’re using a taxi app, just enter “Port de Barcelona” or the specific terminal you’re departing from.
