Ferries from Thessaloniki to the North Aegean Sea are once again in operation from 6 March 2021 until 12 June and we’re waiting for an extension!

Ferry company Blue Star Ferries serves the Thessaloniki - North Aegean Sea route every Saturday at 21:00, connecting the port of Thessaloniki with the following islands: Lemnos, Lesbos, Chios, Samos (Karlovasi and Vathy), Fourni and Ikaria. Ferries from Thessaloniki to Lemnos

During your stay in Lemnos you can relax at seaside restaurants, swim in charming coves and hike through impressive landscapes. The new ferry route Thessaloniki - Lemnos for 2021 takes you to the island of Lemnos in 7 hours. The ferry arrives in Lemnos at 04:15 in the early morning hours. Ferry tickets from Thessaloniki to Lemnos start at €23.

Ferries from Thessaloniki to Lesbos

The 2021 ferry route to Lesbos from the port of Thessaloniki takes you to the island of ouzo, quaint villages and green hills in 13 hours. Blue Star Ferries travels from Thessaloniki to Lesbos every Saturday, arriving in Lesbos at 09:55. Tickets start at €36.5.

Ferries from Thessaloniki to Chios

If you’re dreaming about the famous lobster pasta of Fourni, you can now catch the ferry from Thessaloniki to Fourni and head to your favorite taverna! The Thessaloniki - Fourni ferry duration is 23.5 hours and ferries reach the port of Fourni at 20:25. Tickets start at €47.

Ferries from Thessaloniki to Ikaria

Ikaria is the place to be for laid-back holidays and peaceful moments away from the crowds. You can now catch the ferry from Thessaloniki to Ikaria and get to the island in 24.5 hours. The ferry from Thessaloniki to Ikaria arrives at the port of Evdilos at 21:45 the following night and tickets start at €47.

Thessaloniki - Cyclades: ferry schedules

If you dreamt of a large blue-and-yellow ferry at the port of Thessaloniki traveling to the Cyclades, congratulations, you’re now a psychic! Ferry company Blue Star Ferries travels from Thessaloniki to the Cyclades every Saturday at 21:00 and connects the port of Thessaloniki in Northern Greece with Mykonos and Syros, after stopping at the islands of the North Aegean Sea.

The new ferry route from Thessaloniki to Mykonos for 2021 takes you to the cosmopolitan island of Greece in 28 hours. In Mykonos you will join a unique lifestyle and swim in amazing beaches! Ferries from Thessaloniki to Mykonos arrive at the island around 00:55 on Monday and tickets start at €64.

Ferries from Thessaloniki to Syros

In 2021, you can visit the cosmopolitan and historic island of Syros from the port of Thessaloniki. The new Thessaloniki - Syros ferry route takes you to the quaint alleys of Syros in 29 hours. Ferries from Thessaloniki arrive in Syros at 02:20 on Monday and tickets start at €62.5.

Good to know: Bear in mind that the Thessaloniki - Cyclades ferry route is available until 12 June, although we’re waiting for an extension. Alternatively, you can travel to the Cyclades from the port of Kavala, which is a 2-hour drive from Thessaloniki.

Thessaloniki - Sporades: ferry schedules

The Thessaloniki - Sporades ferry route was last available in 2018 and the connection was serviced by high-speed ferries. Ferries from Thessaloniki used to depart in the morning and traveled to Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos. The total ferry trip duration was 4 hours.

There are no updates on the ferry route from Thessaloniki to Sporades for 2021. In the past 2 years, the islands of the Sporades were connected to mainland Greece via the port of Volos in Thessaly.

Despite the long trip, it’s one of our all-time-favorite routes, as it was the perfect opportunity for a mini-cruise adventure in the Aegean Sea!
