Cabins are not available on ferries fromMallorca to Dénia, as both the Eleanor Roosevelt and the Margarita Salas are fast ferries operating the crossing only during the day.

How much luggage can I bring on board?

Baleària has no weight limit for luggage as long as you can carry and handle it on your own. Bear in mind that you do not need to check in your luggage. The ferries also have lockers that you can access throughout the journey.

• Pet-friendly seat: available for pets weighing under 8 kg, which travel in their carrier either on the passenger’s lap or under the seat. Price: from €25.

Dogs can also access designated pet areas during the crossing, but they must be kept on a leash and wear a muzzle.

Where to take the ferry from Mallorca to Dénia

The easiest way to travel by ferry to Dénia from Mallorca is from the port of Palma de Mallorca, on the west coast of the island. You can easily access the port of Palma de Mallorca in about 40 min by bus or 15 min by taxi from the center of the city. 

How to get to the port of Mallorca?

• On foot: the ferry terminal is approximately a 20-minute walk from Palma's historic center and the iconic La Seu Cathedral. Follow the seaside promenade along the Passeig Marítim for a pleasant stroll to the port.
• By car: follow signs for Port de Palma / Estació Marítima. Parking facilities are available near the terminal, including both short-term and long-stay options. During peak season, we recommend arriving early to secure a spot.
• By bus: several EMT city bus lines connect key areas of Palma to the port area. Line 1 runs along the Passeig Marítim and stops close to the ferry terminal. Frequency may vary depending on the season.
• By taxi: taxis are widely available throughout Palma and offer a quick and convenient way to reach the port. A ride from the city center typically takes around 10 min, depending on traffic.
• By plane: Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) is located approximately 10 km east of the port. You can reach the ferry terminal in around 20-25 min by taxi or private transfer. Alternatively, you can take the airport bus (Line A1) to Palma's city center and then continue to the port by bus or taxi.

Where does the ferry arrive in Dénia?

Ferries from Mallorca arrive at the port of Dénia, located on the southeast coast of Spain. The city sits between Valencia (about 100 km away) and Alicante (around 90 km), both of which have international airports for onward travel.

The ferry terminal (Baleària Port) is easily accessible from the center of Dénia via Carrer de Patricio Ferrándiz. You can also hop on La Panseta, a free solar-powered boat that connects the ferry terminal with the city center.
