Where to take the ferry from Ibiza to Barcelona

From the main port of Ibiza Town, you can travel by ferry to the port of Barcelona. More specifically, ferries to Barcelona usually depart from Estació Marítima Eivissa - Botafoc. However, always check with your ferry operator for the exact departure pier, as it can vary by company.

How to get to the port of Ibiza

  • On foot: if you are staying in Ibiza Town, the port is easily reachable on foot. From the city center and Dalt Vila, it's just a 5 to 10 minute walk downhill to the ferry terminals.

  • By bus: Ibiza's public bus network connects the port with the rest of the island.   • By taxi: taxis are widely available across the island and offer a convenient way to reach the port. An approximate fare from the airport to the port is around €15-€20, with the journey taking about 10 to 15 min depending on traffic.
  • By plane: Ibiza Airport (IBZ) is located approximately 7 km southwest of the port. From the airport, you can reach the port by taxi (around 10 to 15 min), by public bus to Ibiza Town's bus station (around 20 to 30 min), or by rental car.
