Ferry from Dubrovnik to Polače (Mljet)

The passenger categories that are primarily entitled to discount tickets when traveling from Dubrovnik to Polače by ferry are toddlers (up to 3 years old) and children (up to 12 years old).

Note: bear in mind that toddlers up to the age of 1 are not issued a ticket on the ferry route from the port of Dubrovnik to that of Polače.

Cabins & accommodation

There are no cabins on the ferries to Polače, as the duration of the trip from Dubrovnik is only 1 hr 40 min.

Luggage

On the ferries of TP-Line, you can bring along one item of luggage weighing up to 20 kg.

Pets on board

With TP-Line, small pets must travel in a pet carrier or cage on the ferry to Mljet. Medium-sized and large-sized pets, on the other hand, must wear a muzzle and be on a leash.

Tip: the maximum weight of the carrier with a pet should be up to 8 kg, with maximum dimensions of 45x35x25 cm.

Where to take the ferry from Dubrovnik to Polače

Ferries to Polače depart regularly from the seaport of Dubrovnik in mainland Croatia. The ferry port, specifically, is found in the Gruž suburb and is in proximity to Dubrovnik’s historic center (around 30 min on foot).

Alternatively, you can also reach the port of Dubrovnik by car or public transport (bus), with the nearest bus station being a 7-min walk from the port.

Once you get there, you can find several traveler amenities, including an ATM and parking lot, which might come in handy, as you cannot bring along your vehicle on the ferry to Polače.
