Ferry from Vulcano to Panarea

In addition to special offers, the ferry companies operating the Vulcano-Panarea route also have regular discounts on tickets. While these discounts may differ from one ferry company to another, in general, you can expect toddlers up to 3 years old to travel for free, while children up to 11 years old get a 40%-50% discount. Furthermore, residents of the Aeolian Islands may also be entitled to reduced ticket prices.

Cabins & accommodation

While the Vulcano - Panarea ferry trip is relatively short, cabin accommodation is available on Siremar ferries. Alternatively, deck-lounge and standard seats are also available.

Luggage

Each company operating the ferry route from Vulcano to Panarea has its own baggage allowance policy. Specifically:

• On Siremar ferries, adult passengers are entitled to 1 piece of baggage with a maximum weight of 10 kg, while children (4-11) can bring luggage weighing up to 10 kg.
• On Liberty Lines hydrofoils, you can carry up to 10 kg of hand luggage with dimensions of 60x40x20 cm.

Pets on board

You can travel with your pet on Vulcano - Panarea ferries and hydrofoils, as long as you include them in your reservation and pay the additional fee.

A carrier or cage is required for small pets, while large-sized pets must wear a muzzle and a leash. On Siremar ferries there are also special areas on board reserved for passengers with dogs or other pets.

Where to take the ferry from Vulcano to Panarea

Ferries and hydrofoils to Panarea depart from Porto di Levante, located in the northern part of Vulcano.

In the port area, you can find several shops, bars, restaurants, and taxi services. Also, you can reach the famous beach of Acque Calde in just a 5-min walk from the port.
