Where to take the ferry from Procida to Pozzuoli?
Ferries to Pozzuoli depart from the port of Marina Grande in Procida. In the port area, you’ll find various services, including bars, restaurants, pizzerias and rental services.
How to get to the port of Procida
You can reach the port from the main areas of Procida by EAV bus or taxi. From Marina di Chiaiolella, for example, the bus ride takes around 10-15 min, while from Terra Murata it takes about 15-20 min. If you’re in Marina Corricella, you can walk uphill toward the center of the island and continue to the port on foot or by bus.
Tip: if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage, taking a taxi is the most convenient way to get to Marina Grande.
Where does the ferry arrive in Pozzuoli?
Ferries from Procida to Pozzuoli arrive at the Largo S. Paolo pier.
Pozzuoli Solfatara train station is about 1.5 km from the port and can be reached on foot or by bus. You’ll also find some of the city’s attractions near the port, including the beautiful Lungomare Pertini seafront.
