Where to take the ferry from Piombino to Cavo

Ferries to Cavo usually depart from Molo Elba at the port of Piombino. The port is less than 2 km from the town centre.

In the port area, you’ll find various services, including bars, restaurants, accommodation, and ATMs.

If you’re travelling without a car, you can leave your vehicle in the car parks located within the port of Piombino.

Ferries from Piombino dock at the main pier of the port of Cavo, on Lungomare Michelangelo. The town of Cavo is located on the north-eastern tip of the Island of Elba and is the closest point to the Tuscan coast. 

Getting around Cavo

From the port of Cavo, you can get around with your own vehicle, by bus (Route 117) or by taxi. There are also car, motorbike and bike hire services near the port.
