Where to take the ferry from Barcelona to Sardinia

Ferries to Porto Torres depart from Grimaldi Lines terminal at the port of Barcelona (Moll de Ponent pier). The port is located around 5 km out of the center of the city of Barcelona (15-20 min walk from Plaça Portal de la Pau, at the end of the Ramba).

It's easily accessible by public transport, as well as by car or taxi. The closest underground station is Drassanes (L3), very close to the port. The bus routes that reach the port are D20, H14, 20, 21, 91, 120, and 121.

To get to the port of Barcelona from the city airport, you'll need about 25 min by car and 60 min by public transport. 

Where does the ferry arrive in Sardinia?

Ferries from Barcelona arrive at the Porto Torres Maritime Station, located on the north coast of Sardinia. The port is close to the town center and offers essential services, such as cafés, ticket offices and waiting areas.

Once you disembark, you can easily move around the island. A free shuttle bus connects the port with the center of Porto Torres and the train station (Porto Torres Marittima). From here, you can continue your journey by train to cities like Sassari and, with connections, to Olbia, Oristano or Cagliari. You’ll also find regional buses departing from Porto Torres to various towns across the north of the island.
