Where to take the ferry from Venice to Greece

Ferries to Greece usually depart from the Fusina Ferry Terminal at the port of Venice. The ferry terminal is located at Via dell’Elettronica in the Fusina area, on the mainland side of the Venetian Lagoon. The port is about 6 km from the city of Venice and roughly 47 km from Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE).

How to get to the port of Venice?

  • By car: from Venice and Mestre, follow signs for Ravenna/Chioggia (SS309 Romea) and then for Fusina Terminal. The terminal is easily accessible from the A4 highway and the Venezia Mestre exit.
  • By bus: from Venice Piazzale Roma, you can take ACTV bus line 16 towards Fusina, with the ride taking about 30-40 min.
  • By train: the nearest major railway station is Venezia Mestre and from there, you can continue by taxi (around 20-25 min) or bus to Fusina.
  • By taxi: taxis from Venice city centre or Mestre take approximately 25-35 min.

Where does the ferry arrive in Greece?

  • The main port of Corfu is located on the northern side of Corfu Town, with ferries from Venice docking at the international terminal. The port is within walking distance of Corfu Town, typically 10-15 min, while the blue bus line 15 takes you to the town center, main bus station and Corfu International Airport.
