Ferry from Split to Lastovo

The Split - Lastovo ferry runs once a day throughout the year. Departure and arrival times vary slightly depending on the season.

Can I buy food and drinks on board?

It depends on the time of year. During the summer season, most TP Line catamarans offer a selection of snacks and drinks for purchase. In the off season, however, catering services are usually not available, so it's a good idea to bring your own refreshments for the journey.

Is the Split - Lastovo ferry accessible?

TP Line catamarans are equipped with boarding ramps and designated spaces for passengers using wheelchairs. If you require assistance when boarding or disembarking, it's recommended to arrive at the port early and inform the ferry company in advance whenever possible.

Can I book a cabin on the Split - Lastovo ferry?

No. The high-speed catamarans operating on the route do not have cabins. All passengers travel in the standard indoor seating area, which is included in the ticket price.

Can I choose my seat?

No, seats are not assigned. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so you can choose any available seat after boarding. If you're traveling with family or would like a window seat, it's best to arrive at the port a little earlier, especially during the busy summer months.

How much luggage can I bring on the Split - Lastovo ferry?

When traveling with TP Line, each passenger can bring up to 20 kg of luggage free of charge.

As the Split - Lastovo route is served by high-speed catamarans, luggage storage space is limited, so it's best to travel with bags that are easy to carry and handle.

Can I bring my dog or cat on the ferry?

Yes, pets are allowed on TP Line ferries, provided they are added to your booking before you travel.

How do pets travel on board?

Small pets can travel inside the passenger lounge in a suitable pet carrier with a waterproof base, measuring no more than 45×35×25 cm. The combined weight of the pet and carrier must not exceed 8 kg.

Pets that exceed these limits can only travel in the designated pet boxes on the open deck, subject to availability and an additional fee. Make sure you also bring your pet's health and travel documents, as well as any food, water or other supplies needed during the crossing.

Here are some useful tips for your ferry trip from Split to Lastovo:

• Ferries to Lastovo can be particularly popular during the summer months and on weekends, so it is advisable to book your tickets in advance.
• We recommend arriving at the port of Split at least 30 min before departure. The ferry terminal can get busy in high season, and arriving early also gives you more time to find the correct boarding point.
• If you are planning to return to the mainland, check the Lastovo - Split ferry schedule in advance, as there is normally only 1 departure per day.

Where to take the ferry from Split to Lastovo

Ferries to Lastovo depart from the main port of Split (Trajektna Luka Split), located next to the city center. The terminal is around a 5-10 min walk from the Riva promenade, Diocletian’s Palace and the Old Town, while Split’s main bus and railway stations are right beside the port.

TP Line catamarans usually depart from the central passenger-port area. As the exact berth may vary, check your ticket and the electronic departure boards when you arrive.

Around the port, you’ll find ticket offices, cafés, bakeries, shops, ATMs, luggage-storage services and car-rental agencies.

How to get to the port of Split

• On foot: from the Riva promenade, Diocletian’s Palace or the Green Market, the walk takes around 5-10 min.
• From the bus or railway station: both stations are located directly next to the ferry terminal.
• From Split Airport: the airport is around 20 km from the port. The journey by taxi or private transfer usually takes 30-40 min, depending on traffic.
• By airport shuttle: shuttle buses arrive at Split’s main bus station, right beside the port.
• By car: follow signs for Trajektna luka or Gradska luka. Paid parking is available nearby, but spaces can be limited in summer.

Where does the ferry arrive in Lastovo?

Ferries from Split arrive at the port of Ubli, also known as Uble, on the southwestern side of Lastovo. Ubli is the island’s main ferry gateway and is located within a small coastal settlement.

The port area has a bus stop, a ticket office and a few basic services, including shops, accommodation options, an ATM and places to eat.

How to get from Ubli port to other parts of Lastovo

Lastovo Town is around 10-11 km from Ubli. Local buses connect the port with Lastovo Town and Pasadur, with the journey to Lastovo Town usually taking about 15-20 min.

Taxis and private transfers are also available, although it is best to arrange them in advance during the summer. As local transport services can be limited, check the bus timetable before your arrival.
