Fred. Olsen Express offers cabins on its Huelva - Gran Canaria services. Baleària also offers cabin accommodation, with options such as interior/exterior cabins, depending on the ship. You can book a cabin for 1-4 passengers, with prices normally starting at about €446.

On Cádiz - Gran Canaria ferries, Naviera Armas offers a wide range of choices including interior cabins, exterior cabins (with a sea view), and suites. Cabin prices normally start at around €338 for each leg of the journey.

What seats can I book?

On Huelva - Gran Canaria ferries, you can book standard reclining seats with prices starting at around €116. For extra comfort and privacy, you can book a business seat, costing around €132. All seats are equipped with device connectors.

On Cádiz - Gran Canaria ferries, standard airplane type seats start at €115. Alternatively, you can book a seat in the VIP lounge, which also includes priority boarding, costing around €132.

How much luggage is allowed on the ferries?

When traveling by ferry from Huelva to Gran Canaria with Baleària and Fred. Olsen, you can normally carry up to 20 kg of luggage free of charge.

On Naviera Armas and Trasmediterranea ferries from Cádiz, you can bring up to 4 items of luggage with a maximum combined weight of 60 kg.

Can I travel with my pet?

Where to take the ferry from Spain to Gran Canaria

You can travel by ferry to Gran Canaria from the ports of Huelva and Cádiz in Andalusia (southern Spain).

• From Huelva port (Puerto de Huelva): ferries depart from the Outer Port (Puerto Exterior), located around 17 km from the centre Huelva. The ferry terminals are at the south pier (Puerto Exterior Muelle Sur). The closest major airport is Seville Airport (SVQ), about 105 km away.
• From Cádiz port: it is within walking distance from the center. The port is easily accessible by train or by car via the Cádiz - Seville highway. It is located 40 km south of Jerez de la Frontera airport, with the trip taking about 30 min by car or 1 hr by public transport.

Where does the ferry arrive in Gran Canaria?

Ferries from mainland Spain ports normally arrive at the port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the capital of Gran Canaria, on the northeastern coast of the island. Outside the ferry terminal, there are buses to take to the city center and other areas of the island.

In the area around the port, you will find cafés, restaurants, bars, shops and a shopping mall, as well as hotels, ATMs, and banks.
