Normally, the Liberty Lines ferries traveling from Reggio Calabria to the Aeolian Islands depart from the pier in Via Candeloro.

In the area, there are bars, restaurants, hotels, rentals, and private parking. The Reggio Calabria Centrale station is located about 3 km from the hydrofoil dock and can be reached by bus in about 20 min.
