Where to take the ferry from Palma to Mahón

Ferries from Palma to Mahón depart from the port of Palma de Mallorca, located along the city's seafront promenade. Trasmed ferries usually depart from Estación Marítima 2, in the Muelle de Peraires area.

We recommend checking the exact departure terminal on your ticket before heading to the port, as boarding areas and terminal assignments may occasionally change.

How to get to the port of Palma

• By car: follow the signs for Port de Palma, Muelle de Peraires or Estación Marítima. If you are traveling with a vehicle, make sure to check the boarding access point indicated on your ticket.
• By taxi: this is a convenient option if you are traveling with luggage. The journey from central Palma usually takes around 10-15 min, depending on traffic.
• By bus: several EMT city bus lines connect central Palma with the port area and the maritime terminals.
• On foot: if you are staying near the seafront promenade, you may be able to walk to the port, although distances within the port area can be quite long.

The maritime terminal area offers basic passenger facilities, including waiting areas, cafés, toilets, ticket offices and parking.

Where does the ferry arrive in Menorca?

The ferry from Palma arrives at the port of Mahón, on the eastern coast of Menorca. The ferry terminal is located in the commercial port area, close to the city center.

After disembarking, you can continue your journey by taxi, bus or your own vehicle. If you are heading to other parts of the island, Mahón’s central bus station offers regular connections across Menorca.
