Where to take the ferry from Barcelona to Mahón

Ferries to Mahón in Menorca typically set sail from Moll Sant Bertran at the port of Barcelona. The port of Barcelona is about 3.5 km from the city centre, at the end of La Rambla and within walking distance of the Gothic Quarter and El Raval.

  • By metro: take Line 3 (Green Line) to Drassanes Station or Line 4 (Yellow Line) to Barceloneta Station, both of which are 15 min on foot from the port.
  • By bus: lines 45, 59, 88, 88B, D20, 21, N0, N6 or H14 serve the port area. The T-3 Portbus shuttle connects Drassanes directly with the cruise and ferry terminals.
  • By train: from Barcelona Sants station, take the R2 Nord line to Estació de França, which is a 20-min walk or short taxi ride to the port.
  • By car: take the C-31 road, which joins the B-10, and follow signs to Port de Barcelona.
  • By taxi: the port is about 5-10 min by taxi from the city center.
