Where to take the ferry from Fuerteventura to Lobos Island

Ferries to Lobos Island depart from the port of Corralejo, on the northern tip of Fuerteventura. The port is right in town and just a few minutes' walk from central Corralejo.

Both Naviera Nortour and Isla de Lobos operate from Corralejo port. The exact boarding point may vary depending on the ferry company, so we recommend checking your ticket and following the staff's directions when you arrive.

How to get to the port of Corralejo

You can reach Corralejo port by bus, car or taxi. If you are staying in central Corralejo, the easiest option is to walk, as the port is very close to the tourist area and seafront.

  • From Puerto del Rosario: TIADHE bus 6 connects the capital with Corralejo and stops at Corralejo port.
  • From Fuerteventura Airport: there is no direct bus to Corralejo. You can take bus 3 to Puerto del Rosario and change there to bus 6 to Corralejo.
  • From Caleta de Fuste: take bus 3 to Puerto del Rosario and then continue to Corralejo on bus 6.
  • From southern Fuerteventura: if you are staying in areas such as Costa Calma or Morro Jable, you can first take a bus to Puerto del Rosario and then continue to Corralejo on bus 6.

Is there parking at Corralejo port?

Yes, there is a parking area at Corralejo port, as well as additional parking options around the harbor. However, spaces closest to the ferry terminal can fill up quickly, especially in summer and during the busiest ferry departure times.

Where do ferries arrive on Lobos Island?

Ferries from Corralejo arrive at the small pier on Lobos Island, located on the southern side of the islet, close to El Puertito. As Lobos is a protected Natural Park, there are no roads or vehicles, so you will get around the island entirely on foot.

From the pier, you can head straight onto the park's walking trails. El Puertito, known for its fishermen's houses and natural pools, is around a 10-min walk away. In the opposite direction, you can continue towards La Concha, also known as La Calera beach, and follow the marked trails towards La Caldera and the Martiño Lighthouse.
