Where to take the ferry from Zadar to Sali

The catamaran to Sali normally departs from Zadar’s Old Town passenger port at Liburnska obala 4, along the northern edge of the historic peninsula, and within walking distance of the city center. This is different from Gaženica, the larger ferry terminal around 4-5 km from central Zadar. 

The Old Town port is well connected and easy to navigate, with ticket offices, cafés, bakeries and other traveler services nearby. 

How to get to the port of Zadar

• On foot: if you are staying in Zadar’s Old Town, you can reach the port area in just a few minutes.
• By bus: local buses connect different parts of the city with the center. The main bus station is about 2 km from the port (around 5-10 min by taxi).
• From Zadar Airport: the airport is approximately 12 km away. Shuttle buses and taxis usually take around 20-25 min to reach the port.
• By car: follow signs to the city center or ferry port. Parking is available near the port area, though spaces may be limited in the high season.
• By taxi: taxis are widely available and offer a quick and convenient way to reach the port from anywhere in the city.

Where does the ferry arrive in Sali?

Ferries arrive at Sali port, in the center of the island’s main settlement on the southeastern coast of Dugi Otok. Cafés, restaurants, shops, accommodations, and local services are within walking distance of the harbor. During the summer season, TP Line may dock at the outer breakwater berth.
From Sali, you can continue to other parts of Dugi Otok by local transport, taxi, rental car or scooter.
