How to get to the port of Tunis?

Getting to the port of La Goulette is quite easy, whether you’re traveling by car or using local transport.

• By car: from the center of Tunis, head towards La Goulette along the main road that crosses Lake Tunis, continuing from the Avenue Habib Bourguiba area. Once you arrive in La Goulette, follow the signs for “Gare Maritime”.
• By train: you can take the TGM train (Tunis - Goulette - Marsa) from Tunis Marine station, near Avenue Habib Bourguiba, and get off at La Goulette. From there, the port is just a short walk away.
• By plane: Tunis-Carthage Airport is around 10 km from the port. We recommend taking one of the taxis available outside the terminal. In normal traffic conditions, the journey takes about 15-30 min.

Where do ferries arrive in Genoa?

Ferries from Tunis usually arrive at Calata S. Lazzarino (Ponte Andrea Doria), a central area close to the port entrance.

Nearby you will find cafés, bars and restaurants, as well as shops, ATMs, taxis, pharmacies, car rental agencies and parking lots. The nearest train station is Genova Piazza Principe, located approximately 1 km away, which is about 10-15 min on foot or a 5-min taxi ride. There are also several buses from the port that take you to Genoa’s historic center in 10-15 min.
