How to get to the port of Reggio Calabria

• By car: from the Tyrrhenian coast, take the A2 Mediterranean Motorway (or the SS18), while from the Ionian coast, take the SS106. Then follow the signs to the city center and the port. There are several parking options in the area, including private parking facilities near the hydrofoil departure terminals.
• By bus: the ATAM city buses connect the city center, train station, airport, and port. Several bus companies (Federico, Lirosi and Mediterranea Bus) also connect Reggio Calabria with other destinations in Calabria.
• By train: the Reggio Calabria Centrale train station is about 3 km from the hydrofoil terminal. You can reach the port in around 20 min by ATAM city bus or take a taxi.
• By plane: the Reggio Calabria Airport "Tito Minniti" is just 4 km from the city center, with flights from major Italian cities. From the airport, you can reach the port by ATAM city bus, taxi or shuttle bus.

The port is located close to the city center and about 600 m from the train station. In the port area, you can find bars, restaurants, private parking facilities, and car rental services.
