Ferry from Venice to Greece
One of the most popular ports in Italy to start your ferry trip to Greece is the port of Venice in northern Italy. Venice is connected to both Igoumenitsa and Patras with 3-4 weekly ferry crossings. Specifically, in 2021, Minoan Lines (in cooperation with Grimaldi Lines) and Anek-Superfast continue serving these crossings with frequent departures to Greece, mainly at noon.
The sailing from Venice to Igoumenitsa lasts approximately 27 hours, covering a distance of 500 nautical miles. Then again, the trip from Venice to Patras takes up to 33 hours and the ferry to Greece covers 692 nautical miles. Seeing that, we strongly suggest that you book a bed cabin for either crossing.

Ferries from Bari to Igoumenitsa
Bari is located in southern Italy and is well connected to the port of Igoumenitsa in Greece. In the summer of 2021, you can find at least 5-6 weekly crossings from Bari to Igoumenitsa, served by the ferry companies Anek - Superfast and Ventouris Lines. Ferries to Igoumenitsa usually depart around 19:30 - 20:00 from each company.
