Where to take the ferry from Ancona to Patras
Ferries to Patras usually depart from Molo Santa Maria in the port of Ancona (Porto di Ancona). The port is a 15-min walk from the city center and about 2 km from Ancona Centrale train station.
Before heading to the ship, keep in mind that check-in is handled at the Ancona Ferries Terminal (Maritime Ticket Office / check-in terminal) inside the port area (not necessarily right next to your ship’s ramp).
After check-in, follow the on-site signage to the correct boarding area (the port uses Facility 2A / Facility 2B depending on the destination/ship) and, if needed, use the free shuttle bus inside the port (Line 20) to reach the quays.
