Where to take the ferry from Bari to Patras

• From Bari Centrale train station: the station is about 2 km from the port (5-10 min by taxi, 25-30 min on foot). Local buses connect the station area with the port zone.
• From Bari Airport (Karol Wojtyła): the airport is about 11 km away. You can reach the port by taxi (around 20-30 min) or by train from the airport to Bari Centrale, followed by taxi or bus to the port.

Where does the ferry arrive in Patras?

Ferries from Bari arrive at the Port of Patras (New South Port / Patras New Port). The New Port is located about 2-3 km south of Patras city centre, roughly a 5-10 min drive.

The port area is modern and well organised, with passenger terminals, waiting areas, and vehicle access zones. Outside the terminal, you’ll find taxis and local bus connections linking the port with the city centre and the regional bus station (KTEL). The central railway station and Patras’ waterfront promenade are also within a short drive.

Patras city centre offers plenty of amenities, including cafés, restaurants, hotels, and car-rental agencies, making it easy to continue your journey either within the Peloponnese or towards Athens (approximately 2-2.5 hr by car).
