Due to the short duration of the journey, there are no available cabins on Sandefjord - Strömstad ferries. Alternatively, onboard seating is included in the ticket price. You can also book a table in one of the restaurants on board.

Luggage

On Fjord Line ferries, you can bring 1 piece of luggage with a maximum size of 55x40x23 cm and a maximum weight of 15 kg. If you’re traveling with a vehicle, luggage weighing up to 50 kg can be transported free of charge.

On Color Line ferries, up to 50 kg of luggage is allowed per passenger.

Pets on board

You can bring along your little companion on the ferries of Color Line. However, pets are not allowed in public areas and should remain either in your vehicle or in the kennel on the car deck throughout the ferry trip to Strömstad.

Where to take the ferry from Sandefjord to Strömstad

Ferries to Strömstad depart regularly from the port of Sandefjord in Vestfold, which is located close to the city center.

Sandefjord is easy to reach via the E18 road linking the city directly to the Norwegian motorway network. The port is about a 1.5-hr drive from Oslo (121 km). Alternatively, the train and bus station is located within walking distance from the ferry terminal.
