Since the trip is very short, the ferries that operate the crossing from Salerno to Vietri sul Mare do not have cabins.

Luggage

On Travelmar ferries, you can carry up to 1 piece of luggage with a maximum size of 45x35x20 cm. For any extra luggage, an additional cost is applied.

Pets on board

On Travelmar ferries you can travel safely with your pet. The pet ticket on the Salerno - Vietri sul Mare route costs €5.

Keep in mind that dogs must wear a muzzle and a leash, while cats and other small animals must travel in their own carriers or cages.

Also note that animals can only travel outside the passenger lounges (except guide dogs).

• In the months of July and August, and during the weekends, it is best to arrive at the port of Salerno well in advance to avoid traffic.

Where to take the ferry from Salerno to Vietri sul Mare

Normally, Travelmar ferries to Vietri sul Mare depart from Piazza della Concordia in Salerno.

The city railway station is just a 3-min walk from the pier. In the area you will find various bars, pastry shops, pizzerias, and hotels.
