Where to take the ferry from Piombino to Bastia?

• By car: if you are coming from the North, take the A12 Genova-Livorno motorway and exit at Rosignano Marittimo, then continue along the SS1 Aurelia towards Venturina-Piombino-Isola d'Elba. If you are coming from the South, take the A12 Roma-Civitavecchia motorway and continue along the SS1 Aurelia towards Grosseto/Livorno, exiting at Venturina-Piombino-Isola d'Elba. To head directly to the boarding area, set your sat-nav to Piazzale Premuda.
• By bus: Autolinee Toscane connects Piombino with the main cities in the region, with a stop right at the port.
• By train: Piombino Marittima railway station is located a short distance from the port. If your train stops at Campiglia Marittima, you can continue to Piombino Marittima with a quick connection (approx. 3 min.) or use the local bus services.
• By plane: the nearest airport is Pisa International Airport (Galileo Galilei), located approximately 130 km from Piombino. From there, you can reach the port by rental car or by train via Campiglia Marittima. Alternatively, Florence Airport (Amerigo Vespucci) is around 200 km away, with similar onward connections available.
