Ferry from Corfu to Paxi

The ferry route from Corfu to Paxi offers discounts to the following passenger categories:

The ferries serving the Corfu - Paxi route are mostly high-speed catamarans. There are also a few conventional ferries serving the route, such as Ionian Blue Wave's Ninemia and Kerkyra Lines' Calypso.

Cabins and accommodation

Given the short duration of the Corfu - Paxi ferry trip, there are no cabins available on the ferries. There are numbered seats available for a comfortable trip.

Ferry companies, such as  Ionian Blue Wave, Kamelia Lines, and Kerkyra Lines, are usually quite flexible when it comes to luggage size and weight. You can keep your luggage next to you or store your bags and suitcases in the designated luggage area on the ferry from Corfu to Paxi.

Tip: each ferry company has its own policies for luggage. We recommend that you don’t carry more than 50 kg of luggage, as there might be limited storage capacity on the vessels, especially if you're traveling with a small boat or water taxi.

Traveling with pets

You can travel with your pet to Paxi, depending on the company and type of vessel you’ve chosen. Make sure to carry along the necessary certificates, tickets and any pet supplies you may need for your trip.

Here are some useful tips for your ferry trip from Corfu to Paxi:

• As the port of Corfu gets quite busy in summer, make sure to arrive at least 45 min in advance to avoid delays. The same applies to ferry rides on weekends.
• July and August are the busiest travel months. Therefore, if you are planning to travel during this period, we recommend booking your ferry at least a couple of weeks in advance.
• The air-conditioned lounges of Greek ferries can get chilly, even during the summer, so bring along a light jacket or sweater for a more comfortable journey.

Where to take the ferry from Corfu to Paxi

Ferries to Paxi depart from the ports of Corfu Town and Lefkimmi. You can reach the port of Corfu Town from the Old Town by car or on foot. The port of Lefkimmi is close to the village of Melikia and is smaller than the main port of Corfu. You can easily get there by bus.

Where does the ferry arrive in Paxi?

Ferries from Corfu normally arrive at the New Port of Gaios in Paxi. The port is around a 10-15 min walk or a short drive from the center of Gaios. In the area around the port, you will find cafés, hotels and car rentals.
