Where to take the ferry from Igoumenitsa to Paxi

There are 2 piers in the port of Igoumenitsa: the northern pier, which serves domestic ferry routes, and the central pier, which serves connections with Italian ports. Ferries to Paxi set sail from the northern pier, which is located near the city center of Igoumenitsa.

You can get to the port city of Igoumenitsa by car, as well as the intercity bus from Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Patras, and Athens. It takes around 5 hr to travel from Athens to Igoumenitsa and 3.5 hr to get there from Thessaloniki.
