Ferry from Positano to Cetara

Given the short duration of the trip, there are no cabins on the ferries from Positano to Cetara.

Luggage

Each ferry company traveling from Positano to Cetara has its own baggage allowance policy. More specifically:

• The Travelmar ferry company allows passengers to bring 1 piece of hand luggage with a maximum size of 45x35x20 cm. For excess baggage, an additional fee is applied.
• On Grassi Junior ferries you can bring your luggage on board by paying an additional fee of €2.

Pets on board

You can safely travel with your little friend on all ferries to Cetara from Positano. Pet tickets for the Positano - Cetara route cost €5.

• The port of Positano gets quite busy during the summer and on weekends. Therefore, we recommend arriving well in advance to avoid delays and overcrowding.
• Hydrofoil services can be suspended, depending on the weather conditions. In such cases, we recommend that you consult the company that you’re traveling with.
• If you choose the Positano - Cetara route with a stopover and ferry change in Amalfi, make sure to wander a bit around town and explore its beautiful port area before resuming your trip to Cetara.
• Continue your sea adventure among the beautiful villages of the Amalfi Coast!
• During your stay in Cetara, we suggest you sit in some of the little restaurants in the harbor and try the local anchovies.

Where to take the ferry from Positano to Cetara

Ferries to Cetara depart from the small port of Positano, close to its historic center and the popular beach Marina Grande. Nearby, you can find bars, restaurants, boat rentals, and nightclubs. You can find more services and shops as you approach the upper part of the town.
