Luggage

The ferry company is usually quite flexible when it comes to luggage size and weight. You can keep your luggage next to you or store your bags and suitcases in the designated luggage area.

Tip: we recommend that you don’t carry more than 50 kg of luggage to avoid delays due to restricted space in the luggage area.

Pets on board

You can travel with your pet on the Brindisi to Vlorë ferries free of charge.

Keep in mind that small pets must be transported in a pet carrier. As for those of medium/large size, they must wear a muzzle and be on a leash.

On some vessels of Star Lines, there are also pet-friendly cabins.

• The port of Brindisi can get quite busy in the summer months, so we recommend arriving there at least 1.5 hr before your departure, especially if you are bringing along your vehicle.

Where to take the ferry from Bari to Vlorë

To reach Vlorë in Albania from Italy, your best option is to catch a ferry from the port of Brindisi and specifically from the west quay of Costa Morena (Punta delle Terrare).

Nearby, you can find plenty of services, including shops, restaurants, coffee shops, parking lots, and a bus stop.
