There are regular ferry crossings from the port of Barcelona to Alcúdia in Mallorca and the Balearic Islands. The port is located 3 km away from Barcelona’s city center and it's easily accessible by public transport (underground or bus), as well as by car or taxi.

To get to the port of Barcelona from the city airport you'll need about 25 min by car or 1 hr by public transport.

Ferries from Barcelona arrive at the port of Alcúdia, located on the northeast coast of Mallorca. In the area, you will find several car rental offices.

There are regular bus lines between Alcúdia and the port of Palma de Mallorca, which is on the island’s west coast.
