Where to take the ferry from Venice to Pula

Ferries to Croatia depart from the San Basilio Passenger Terminal located in the Zattere area of the port of Venice. 

It’s just a 15-minute walking distance from the city center. Alternatively, you can easily reach it using public transportation from Santa Lucia Railway Station, Tronchetto Island and Piazzale Roma. 

The terminal is very large, with a waiting room, restrooms, as well as food and beverage vending machines.

Can I travel on the Venice - Pula ferry with a car?

No, ferries operating the Venice - Pula connection do not carry motor vehicles, only passengers. You are, however, allowed to bring your bicycle on board for an extra charge.

If you decide to arrive in Venice by car, you must take into account that there are no roads in the city. You will therefore have to leave your vehicle in one of the paid parking lots in Piazzale Roma.
