Where to take the ferry from Dénia to Ibiza

You can travel by ferry to Ibiza from the port of Dénia. You can reach the port of Dénia easily by bus, boat, car, or taxi, depending on your starting point. Find more information below:

• By boat: there is a solar-powered boat (La Panseta) that takes you from the center to the ferry terminal for free.
• By bus: local buses (Autobuses Denibús) may be available depending on your location within the city center. More specifically, the bus line L3 travels through key parts of the city center and has stops near the port area.
• By car: the port is just a few minutes' drive from the city center. Follow local signs for "Puerto" or "Port," which will direct you to the waterfront. If you are traveling to the port of Dénia from the international airports of Alicante or Valencia, you should take the AP-7 motorway and exit at 62 towards Ondara/Dénia/Xàbia. Both cities are about 1 hr from the port of Dénia by car.
• By taxi: taxis are readily available in Dénia and can take you directly to the port. The journey is short and typically takes about 5 min from most central locations.
• On foot: if you are in the city center of Denia, the port is within walking distance. Depending on your starting point, it can take around 10 to 20 min to reach the port on foot. 

Which Dénia gate do ferries to Ibiza depart from?

The port has a passenger terminal (Estación Marítima de Dénia), managed by Baleària. The building has info desks, a waiting area, and a small play area for kids. There are also bars and restaurants with a great view of Dénia's waterfront.

Ferries arrive at the main port of Ibiza. The port is located very close to the island’s Old Town, known as Dalt Vila, and within walking distance of popular beaches like Platja d'en Bossa and Platja de Ses Figueretes. There, you can find famous clubs and resorts.

How to get from Ibiza port to other parts of the island

The port of Ibiza is well connected and offers several options to reach other destinations on the island:

• Your own vehicle: if you brought your car, motorcycle, or van on the ferry, you can head straight to your destination after disembarking.
