We gathered some useful tips for a hassle-free trip and a pleasant stay at Kusadasi: 

• You should carry a valid passport or ID card to travel from the Greek islands of Samos or Patmos to Kusadasi. 
• Ferries on Kusadasi routes do not have car decks for vehicle transportation. Upon arrival, you can rent a car or scooter, or use local minibuses and taxis to explore the town and surrounding attractions.
• The local currency is the Turkish lira. Currency exchange offices are available in the city center and the port area.
• We recommend arriving at the port of departure at least 1 hour before departure, especially during summer.

Ferries connecting Kusadasi with the Greek islands of Samos (Vathy, Pythagorio) and Patmos are high-speed passenger vessels. Due to the short duration of these trips, there are no cabins on board. Standard seating is available and included in the ticket price. Please note that pets are allowed on ferries to Kusadasi. 

The port of Kusadasi is conveniently located within walking distance from the city center (about 5 minutes on foot). It offers quick access to restaurants, shopping areas, currency exchange offices, and tourist services. It is also easily reached by taxi or bus from several parts of the city.
