From Naples to Salerno by ferry

How to move between the two cities by sea

Naples is about 56 km far from Salerno, so it takes around 1 hour to move between the two Campania cities by car (if traffic allows it). But why drive when you could make your vacation even greater instead?

As the distance between Naples and Salerno is short, there are no direct ferry routes between the two ports at the moment. It so happens, however, that the famous Gulf of Sorrento is exactly halfway, and that it is connected by sea to both Naples and Salerno.

Take note and add Sorrento to your trip! You can take the ferry from Naples to Sorrento and then continue your journey to Salerno.
