Athens, May 26 2026: Ferryhopper, the leading ferry booking platform in the Mediterranean, has received double recognition, further strengthening its position among Europe’s fastest-growing companies.

More specifically, Ferryhopper was included in the Financial Times’ “FT1000: Europe’s Fastest-Growing Companies 2026” ranking, securing the 163rd position overall and ranking 1st among all Greek companies featured on the list, highlighting the company’s strong growth trajectory across Europe.

At the same time, Ferryhopper was named one of the 100 fastest-growing companies in Southern Europe in the “Sifted 100: Southern Europe 2026 Leaderboard”, ranking #91. Sifted, the leading European media platform covering the startup ecosystem and backed by the Financial Times, evaluates companies annually based on growth, scalability, and market impact, making the ranking a particularly significant recognition for businesses operating within the European technology ecosystem.

These two distinctions come during a period of strong growth for Ferryhopper, as the company continues to invest in enhancing the travel experience through digital tools that simplify ferry trip planning and booking for millions of travelers across the Mediterranean.

Commenting on the distinctions, Christos Spatharakis, CEO of Ferryhopper, said: “Being included in the FT1000 list and recognized in the Sifted 100 is much more than awards. It is confirmation that we are building something truly meaningful. We started with a simple ambition: to modernize ferry travel through digital tools that make the passenger experience easier, more flexible, and more seamless. Being recognized by two institutions that serve as important benchmarks within the European business and technology landscape, gives us even greater motivation to continue evolving and expanding our international footprint.”

With a presence in more than 30 countries and partnerships with over 200 ferry operators, Ferryhopper continues to expand its international reach, actively contributing to the digital transformation of ferry travel across the Mediterranean.
