Ferry from Athens to Milos and Heraklion (Crete)

In 2024, the Festos Palace and Knossos Palace ferries travel from the port of Piraeus to Milos island and Heraklion in Crete. The daily ferry departs from Athens at 21:00 and arrives in Milos at 01:00. The ferry then continues its journey to Heraklion leaving Milos at 01:20, and finally reaches Crete at 06:30.

The Piraeus - Milos ferry trip duration is around 4 hours, while the total Piraeus - Heraklion ferry time is around 9 hours 30 minutes.

Tickets for the Athens - Milos - Heraklion ferry connection (and vice versa) with Minoan Lines start at €42.

Note: not all ferries from Athens depart at night, especially in the summer months. For instance, you can also find departures for Milos at 09:30 in the morning.

Ferry from Heraklion (Crete) to Milos and Athens

The opposite direction from Heraklion to Milos and the port of Piraeus is also available every day, with the ferry departing at 21:00 and reaching the port of Adamas in Milos at 02:10. At 02:30, the Minoan Lines ferry leaves Milos and arrives in Athens at 06:30.

The Heraklion - Milos ferry takes around 5 hours and 10 minutes to reach the magical Cyclades island.
